O Almighty, we pray that we may see nothing evil with our eyes, hear no evil with our ears. With a contended heart in a healthy body, may we live this life given to us by YOU

A Complete Lecture Series on Ishopanishad

Ishopanishad, the first of the 11 principal authentic Upanishads is the 40th (last) chapter of Yajurveda. Its 17 verses contain profound meaning that can guide humanity to a much better world. European philosopher Schopenhauer had said that if the entire library of the humankind vanished in a deluge but one sheet of paper with Ishopanishad survived then that would be adequate to guide humanity.

Ishopanishad remarkably teaches us to balance our life even in conflicting situations. The contrasting words such as enjoyment and renouncement will be explained in a manner that motivates one to lead a fulfilling life.

Our Guest Vedic Scholar Dr Harish Chandra has managed to cover the entire Ishopanishad during the Sunday morning Satsang talks at the Arya Samaj West Midlands October 25, 2009 to January 17, 2010.
